VowVoxBox
I ma testing, and loving 6 new products from the VowVoxBox from Influenster. Influenster lets you try products for free in exchange
for your honest reviews.
The first product in my voxbox is Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure. The shade i received is "baracudda", a lovely pale blue shade. Sally Hansen's complete salon manicure claims you get 7 salon benefits in one bottle. Those are base coat, strengthener, growth treatment, salon inspired color, top coat, and a chip-resistant gel finish. It comes in 56 shades and boosts 10 day wearability. I liked the color of the shade i got, but honestly that was it. For me the polish went on thick and streaky, even after 2 coats. It also was chipped by the next day. I like other Sally Hansen polishes, but not these ones. They retail for around $7.99
The second product in my box is Olay Regenerist Luminous Tone Perfecting Cream. This cream claims i helps to fade the look of dark spots in 8 weeks, and that it's brightening complex delievers tone ingredients 10 layers of skin deep. I had see this in stores but never splurged and gotten it (it retails for about $31), so i was excited to get to try it. It's amazinng. It goes on smooth and light, and a little goes a long way. My skin feels so soft after i use it. It's been 2 weeks and my skin is brighter and healthier looking than it was.
The next item i received was a card about Riley and Grey, with a 50% off coupon code. Riley and Grey is a very nice, upscale website you can use to help build a personal wedding site. They have really cute and chic templates to help you input information and pictures, plus tabs with ideas of what kind of information to include. The site is very pricey, right above $200 a year, but if you can afford it, it's a really cute idea.
Next up is Pure Silk Moisturizing Shave Cream. The scent i got to try is Raspberry Mist, but they do have 6 other scents available. First of all the shave cream itself if great. It comes out of the can thick, not runny, and a little goes a long way. It contains aloe and extra moisturizers to help make your shave smooth and comfortable, with no cuts or nicks. The scent is also awesome, light and fruity but not to fake or overpowering. My legs are so soft right now! This retails for between $1.49 and $2.19 depending on the size.
Next is the EcoTools Pure Complexion Sponge. The sponge is made of 100% natural konjac vegetable fiber. The sponge is weird at first because when you take it out of the package it feels hard, almost like a pumice stone. Then you get it wet and it becomes this soft, squishy little cloud in your hand. Using it with your daily cleanser is supposed to reveal smooth, refreshed skin. I love it! I have sensitive skin, and the all natural fibers in this sponge are perfect for me. It leaves my skin feeling so soft and clean. My face looks smoother and happier since i've started using it. This retails for $5.99.
Last but certainly not least is the Tide To Go pen. It's a instant stain remover pen small enough to fit in your purse or even pocket. It's not a pre-treater and only works on fresh stains, and work it does. It took a small chinese food stain out of my white tank. This pen is the best thing i could have been sent, as anyone who has eaten with me knows i always end up spilling on myself. I recommend anyone with a kid, or who spills a lot, gets one of these for themselves. This retails for $7.99 for a 3 pack.
