ModaVox Box from Influenster

Thanks to Influenster I got to get the ModaVox Box, full of beauty goodies, enough to make a girl feel spoiled. So, what amazing goodies did i get? Let me tell you!

This mascara is awesome.It has a broken heart shaped brush that twists and curves for incredible volume. It really makes your eyes pop!

This lipstick drenches your lips in moisture with it's unique formula, plus it has an intense, long wearing color. I love it.

~Rimmel London Moisture Renew Lip Liner, Retail price $5.99-$6.49~ This is the coolest lip liner i have ever seen. It's completely clear so you can wear it with any color lipstick, which i love. It prevents color from bleeding and feathering, which is great with cold weather and dry lips coming up.

~Puffs Softpack, Retail price for 1 pack $1.99-$2.49~ Speaking of cold weather, it's cold and flu season, which means it's time to have puffs tissues on hand. The soft packs are great. They are more durable than the cardboard boxes. My little cousin gets a kick out of squeezing it. They work great for in the house or car. ASUS and my fight for them to be honorable

This blog is about my fight with ASUS computer company to get them to honor my warranty and replace my laptop. If anyone wants to share this page on the ASUS facebook page i would appreciate it. It also would be great if people could please go to this tweet and re-tweet it. The story In February of 2013 I purchased an ASUS brand laptop. The salesman highly recommended the brand, and it had several features i was looking for, including windows 8. $400 later, i left the store with a new laptop for school and a happy spirit. Flash forward ONE MONTH, and i started having an issue with the laptop. The sound would stop working, both on files and online. After contacting both geek squad and ASUS, they determined that i had gotten a virus in the audio software. I uninstalled the software, ran a comprehensive virus cleanup, purchased a new "better" anti-virus program the ASUS tech recommended and re-installed the audio drivers. Why i stayed...

In light of the recent video that has come to light showing ex-ravens player Ray Rice knocking then fiance, current wife Janay Palmer unconscious in a elevator, i have seen a lot of people asking "why did she still marry him?" and "why do woman stay with men that beat them?" I'd like to take a moment to offer some insight, as a survivor of domestic violence myself. The day i was married, sept 2nd of 2005, 8 months pregnant and so naive, is the day my ex-husband first hit me. One of my male family members had said something incredibly rude to him, which caused us to argue after the wedding and reception. I made the "mistake" of defending that while my uncle was wrong, he said what he said because he loved me. I didn't even see it coming when he backhanded me. I locked myself in the bathroom, holding my stomach, thinking of my son, and sobbing. But he apologized...he was stressed, hurt by what had been said to him, and so sorry. He worked hard ...
