Being a landlord can be a risky
venture. I found this out myself a few years ago when I rented a room
to a former friend. This is what a man named Songhua also discovered
when he became a first time landlord. Most landlords check a credit
report, but that doesn't give the whole picture, and bank statements
proving you have enough income for rent can be faked. Songhua knew
there had to be a better way to check out prospective tenants and
protect himself as a landlord. Thus Tenantify was born.
Tenantify is a third-party website that
verifies employment and uses a secured bank account API to deliver
the landlord a authenticated bank statement that is void of any
sensitive personal information. This allows the landlord to be sure
they are not being lied to by potential tenants, and alliviates some
of the risk of renting. Tenantify is easy to use, and is free for
landlords, with a small cost for renters. Tenantify's goal is to
reduce friction in the housing market and build trust between
landlord and tenant. If you are a landlord, you really should pay a
visit to their site.
