“Miriam” is an imagining of the life of Miriam, the sister of Moses. It is the 2 nd book in the “Treasures of the Nile” series. The first book is “The Pharaoh's Daughter.” I had not read the first book and was able to follow the story perfectly. Most who know the bible know the story of Moses, of the plagues, of the first Passover, and of the exodus from Egypt made by the Jewish people. Mesu Andrews uses her novel to take you deeper into the story, using biblical knowledge with historical knowledge to make the story and it's characters really come to life. It's obvious that Mesu Andrews has taken the time to really research for her books and that adds a good depth to the story.  In Miriam we find a women who is strong in her faith, sure of her God, but also human. Broadway imPress press-on manicure

I just LOVE press on nails. So quick, so easy, and my favorite brand is imPress by Braodway. The photo is me rocking "Get into it." It's a very cute zebra tip nail with pink or purple flowers. The product info says this product "features advanced nail technology, so you can get a salon perfect manicure in seconds-simply peel, press on and you're done. There's no drying, a killer shine, and a manicure that lasts up to a week!" These nails really are super easy to use. You wipe your clean, polish free nails with the prep pad, pull the sticky tab off the back of the nail, then press it onto you nail and you're done. Simply, quick and super cute. They say that the nails can last up to a week, but mine lasted about 2 days before i lost 2 nails. To be fair, i am hard on my hands, so others may have better luck with them lasting longer.
